Read this news yesterday ..wonder Malacca need this to attract tourists?Malacca has plenty of historical sites to offer,the main attraction for tourists arrived in Malacca were to walk about along the historical sites from Equatorial Hotel till clock tower and to Hellen st,Jonker st ...and back again to old Godowns till Padang Pahlawan. and by putting this viewing tower may not the wise move.Malacca is not a metropolitan where glowing neon lights light up the magnificent sky scrapers covering the entire city during nite falls..providing colourful sky.Who ever been to Malacca city at nite knows that we have nothing to offer like KL,Penang,Singapore...what we have is quiet nite life.Tourists may not even interested to explore nite view,likewise during day time ..as their objective are to learn our history.
The RM23 million spent on this toy definitely not worth..we may well use this money to keep Malacca river clean,maintain the facilities surrounding it as Malacca River cruise is one of the main attraction and need sufficient fund to maintain.Hope Ali Rustam be wise and smart.not just chase after luxury projects which doesnt benefit to state and rakyat as whole..as i said,we are watching you...

I just visited Malacca(http://uncleawangcapture.blogspot.com).I'm from Sarawak..My command to Melaka is just great City and I love to visit Melaka again because of the historical sites especially the hopin & hopoff penorama buses.
(Congratulation)good for budget tourist like me.I explore and Makan..So Melaka is just great ..like you said Rm23 million how nice if spent on maintain and upgrade the present facilities.btw I have plan to visit Melaka again this time the whole family.Have a nice day.

sememangnya aku rakyat melaka tak menginginkan menara yg bertingkat2 tp yg sebenarnya dapat menikmati kemudahan tu orang luar.rakyat melaka tu sendiri takkan naik disebabkan rm10.kalau dibina juga akhirnya kerajaan takde duit so dia akan naikkan cukai,mcm2 terjadi kat area jasin.cukai pintu naik.satu lagi projek Be End ni di tapak expo air keroh dan projek light and sound.tak guna!Oi Ali Rustam!byk pembaziran ko nih!!takde akalla

Terima Kasih atas kesudian kamu memberi komen tentang artikle saya.Benar cakap mu ,Melacca akan menjadi negeri yang mempunyai banyak'gajah putih' dlm tempoh 5 tahun lagi,jikalau ali rustam tidak mendergar suara rakyat and terus menbazir wang rakyat..kita orang Malacca,keterunan HangTuah MESTI bangun dan bertindak tegas kpd BN yang tidak menbela nasib rakyat Malacca.
No one in Melaka will pay money to spend 7 minutes in the air(see what???)..ali rustam should instead spend that money to widen the rural roads especially in AG...otak mana pergi???
